Tanning Is Safer In The Morning, Says Research

Enjoying the sun in the morning can be good for your skin, a surprising claim comes from the University of North Carolina researchers.

As reported, after several tests to study in mice, researchers found that the DNA repair at that time certainly has made tanning safer.

However, the results of the study also showed that the skin's ability to resist damage from ultraviolet (UV) can vary at different times of day. The researchers also emphasized that the fact of changes in time, compared with the rays of the afternoon, the skin cancer effect may be expected less in the morning sun rays exposure.

Describing the procedures of the study, researchers have shown, the results are certainly advisable to limit trips to the sun or tan areas in the morning will certainly be a decreased risk of skin cancer.

Sharing views on the results of the study, Aziz Sancar, professor of primary research in North Carolina University in the United States, said in order to ensure their claims, is certainly the need for further research studies.

Moreover, this was not the first time, researchers have shown this type of information, as well as in the past, many studies have also shown that the DNA repair protein, commonly known as XPA waxed and certainly reduced the risk of cancer.

Meanwhile, information, said that worldwide, the DNA damage is the only reason behind the growing problems of skin cancer per year, about 11,700 new cases of melanoma data recorded in health records.

Speaking on the issue, the Institute of Cellular Medicine, Newcastle University Professor Brian Diffey, said: "It would be difficult to control our exposure just for certain times of day, of course, assuming that the results were less relevant for all people. "
